Happily Ever After?

A bride being force to marry the groom

Will everybody earn happiness in this world? Is the sentence happily ever after can be applied in this world?

The fate of women in Kyrgyzstan seems like they will never find happiness in their lives as they practice Ala Kachuu which means bride kidnapping. At the age 25 and below, they will be kidnapped by a man and his friends. Then, she will be kept in a room and being forced to marry the man. The father will threaten the the woman and tried to put pressure on her. They will also tried to persuade her in order for her to accept the groom. Most of the victims would not be given any choice to choose their husbands. They are forced to marry the stranger and also the kidnapper without question. After married, their life will only be filled with misery and pain.

In this case, will the woman find happiness in her forced marriage. The answer is yes. Most people will expect that happiness can be gained when they achieve something really big. Millions of ringgit for example. However, to these women that are being kidnapped, they have no other choice rather than to accept their fate. Even the littlest thing can make them feel the feeling of happiness and joy. A person in prison for instance, will find happiness with only looking out the small window seeing the beautiful night sky. With only that, they will feel content. It is the same case with these forced brides. They will find that even the smallest thing will bring them happiness.
